How long does it take you to remove the CO2?

  • The CO2 will be eliminated in real-time as hemp has a growth cycle of just 100 days. You can review our methodology at https://taoclimate.com/methodology/. For business and enterprise customers, we supply our comprehensive Universal Hemp Carbon Credit Methodology.

Will I receive a certificate?

  • Absolutely! You will receive a PDF document confirming your order for CO2 removal. This document will specify the quantity of carbon dioxide ordered under either your name or your company’s name. Rest assured that no one else can lay claim to your credits, as double-counting is not possible with our technology.

Is it possible to claim a tax deduction for the purchase of carbon credits?

  • Legal entities that are obligated to pay taxes on their profits can potentially view the expense of carbon removal services as a legitimate business cost, leading to a reduction in taxable earnings. Nonetheless, this outcome hinges on the pertinent national and regional regulations, as well as the unique factors surrounding the entity’s structure and location. It is advisable to seek guidance from a local legal or tax advisor for personalised advice, especially concerning individual circumstances.

What forms of payment do you currently support?

  • At present, our available payment options include PayPal, Debit and Credit Cards. We can also generate an invoice for you, enabling bank transfers to our account in the Republic of Ireland. All online payments receive a receipt by email.

Can I communicate publicly about my Tao Climate purchase?

  • Absolutely! For communication purposes, you are allowed to utilise the information from both your purchase order confirmation and your delivery confirmation for carbon removal certificate delivery. All communication must adhere to the relevant industry standards and legal obligations regarding green marketing. For companies and individuals that we certify as carbon neutral, we will supply digital certification assets to use on your websites and social profiles, as well as a joint collaboration agreement setting out our joint responsibilities.
