We are Breaking Boundaries in Decarbonization
At Tao Climate were honored to attend the Falling Walls Foundation Science Summit, an inspiring gathering of global change-makers, hosted in Berlin on the anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s fall. Invited by XPRIZE, our cofounder Felix Roick represented Tao Climate at this prestigious event, which celebrated the world’s most groundbreaking scientific advancements. With our recent recognition as a Top 100 company in the XPRIZE global carbon removal competition, we joined Nobel laureates, German government ministers, and leaders from top research institutions in a collaborative effort to address some of humanity’s most critical challenges.
The summit’s theme, “Breaking Walls,” resonates deeply with us, as it commemorates the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, a historical moment that dismantled physical and ideological barriers, paving the way for societal transformation. Today, the Falling Walls Foundation aims to bring down metaphorical walls in science, innovation, and global cooperation. By fostering connections between leaders, the summit creates pathways for groundbreaking progress, especially in critical areas like climate action.
At Tao Climate, our mission is built on breaking down the barriers to effective, transparent, and accountable carbon removal. We know that, as urgent as the need for decarbonization is, true impact requires tearing down “walls” around greenwashing and opaque carbon credits. Our verifiable carbon removal solutions, powered by industrial hemp, are designed to set a new standard—one based on data, science, and trust. Felix highlighted our work in scalable, transparent Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) solutions to ensure that every carbon removal credit is backed by measurable, long-lasting impact.
Beyond carbon removal, Tao Climate is committed to transforming the aviation industry at scale. With initiatives like TaoCX, TaoOps, and TaoSAF, we’re pushing past outdated approaches by optimizing Scope 3 emissions, enabling sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) solutions, and creating ancillary revenue opportunities that align with our environmental goals. Our work is rooted in a belief that aviation can be both a force for global connection and a model for environmental stewardship – we call it the Green Age of Aviation.
Engaging with visionary leaders at the Science Summit has reinforced our commitment to tearing down walls in decarbonization, and beyond. Like the fall of the Berlin Wall, our work at Tao Climate aims to usher in a new era of openness, transparency, and sustainable growth. By breaking through these barriers, we’re working toward a future where both aviation and climate solutions are sustainable, scalable, and impactful for generations to come.
Together, with partners and innovators around the world, we at Tao Climate are breaking down walls and building a cleaner, more connected world.
